Art has always been a part of Nivaldo Donizete Basi's life. With a degree in Arts and a postgraduate degree in Creativity, his career has spanned between the classroom and art galleries in the interior of São Paulo. From 1984 to 2014, he shared his love for education and the arts in state, municipal and private schools in Porto Ferreira.
Treasurer of the Ferreirense Academy of Education, Arts, Letters and Sciences, Nivaldo has participated in important exhibitions and salons, especially in Araras, Pirassununga, Matão and Ribeirão Preto. His work has been seen at the Vega Nery Gallery, at Banco do Brasil, and at the iconic São Paulo Biennial, through collaborative projects.
Among gold, silver and bronze medals, his resume also includes a place in the final phase of the Mapa Cultural Paulista, at the Memorial da América Latina. Today, in addition to painting, he is dedicated to the restoration of sacred images, restoring history and faith to churches and sanctuaries in the region.
